Exploring Online Shopping
──── ✧《✩》✧ ────
As a student who spends quite a bit of time on TikTok (don’t judge ! study breaks are important), I’ve seen tons of products being promoted by influencers and affiliates.
For Activity 7.1, I finally gave in and tried TikTok Shop for myself. Spoiler alert: it was actually a pretty smooth experience!
While casually scrolling, I came across a really nice polo shirt being promoted by an affiliate. The video caught my attention, it looked good, affordable, and the reviews were solid. So, I clicked on the link, browsed the shop, and decided to buy it
TikTok Shop gave me a few payment options:
• Cash on Delivery (COD)
• E-wallets like GCash
• Debit/Credit Cards
• Online Banking
Since I don’t have any e-wallet accounts yet and usually deal with cash, I went with Cash on Delivery. It’s the most convenient for me, I only need to pay once the product arrives, which also makes me feel safer about the whole process.
When it comes to what affects my purchasing decisions, I’m quite careful. I always look into:
✅ Product quality
✅ Price (I’m on a student budget, after all)
✅ Reviews from other buyers
I honestly rely a lot on reviews. If people say the item is good and the seller is legit, that’s what really convinces me to buy. In this case, the polo shirt had great feedback, and the shop seemed trustworthy.
So, how was the whole experience?
Pretty good, to be honest! I didn’t have any issues with the order. The checkout process was easy, the delivery was on time, and the product arrived just as expected. For someone new to TikTok Shop, it was a nice surprise.
Overall, I’d say TikTok Shop is worth checking out, just remember to read the reviews and be smart with your choices!
Am I convincing enough? >.<
