How do I use social media?
──── ✧《✩》✧ ────
For today’s blog post, I want to share how I personally use social media as part of my everyday routine.
Like many of us, social media has become more than just a trend, it's a tool I rely on for communication, entertainment, and even staying informed.
Communication is Key
One of the main reasons I use social media is to stay connected. Apps like Messenger and Instagram are my go-tos when it comes to communicating with friends and family.
- Messenger helps me send messages, make voice and video calls, and even share files that's super convenient when I need to catch up with loved ones who live far away.
- Instagram, on the other hand, is where I share bits of my life through photos and stories. It’s a fun way to keep others updated and to stay in the loop with what's going on in their lives too. Plus, it's great for connecting with people who share similar hobbies and interests through comments and DMs.
All About the Entertainment
When it comes to entertainment, nothing beats TikTok for me. I could honestly scroll for hours (and sometimes do 😝).
From hilarious skits to creative dance trends, TikTok is packed with quick content that’s both funny and impressive. It’s amazing to see how much personality and creativity can be squeezed into a 15-second video! It also keeps things fresh with new challenges and viral content popping up every day.
Staying Informed & Inspired
Social media isn’t just for fun—it’s also how I stay informed about what’s going on in the world.
I use Twitter for trending topics, news updates, and real-time reactions to events.
Pinterest is my chill zone, where I browse through aesthetic mood boards, creative ideas, and images that inspire everything from art to fashion.
Whether it's for a school project or just curiosity, these platforms help me keep up with both current events and personal interests.
Overall, social media has become a big part of my life. It helps me connect, unwind, learn, and express myself. Like anything, it’s all about how you use it—and for me, it’s been a pretty positive with a mix of unpleasant experience.
How about you? : D
